Evans Hotels Restaurants Certified as Ocean Friendly

Three of Evans Hotels restaurants were recently certified as “Ocean Friendly” by the Surfrider Foundation, including A.R. Valentien and The Grill at The Lodge at Torrey Pines and Oceana Coastal Kitchen at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa.

To be certified by the program, our restaurants follow conscientious criteria like limiting polystyrene use, making an effort to recycle properly, using reusable tableware, not offering plastic bags for takeout or to-go orders, and only providing straws upon request. With this designation, Evans Hotels is proud to demonstrate our commitment to making sustainable choices for our ocean.
