Jim Greene was named General Manager of the Bahia Resort Hotel in 2004. He joined Evans Hotels in 1993 as Front Office Manager for the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa before being promoted to Rooms Division Manager of the Catamaran in 1998 and Hotel Manager of the Bahia in 2003.
Mr. Greene enjoyed nine years with Marriott International prior to joining Evans Hotels. He worked as Front Desk Manager for the Denver Marriott City Center and for the Santa Clara Marriott. Mr. Greene then moved to the DFW Marriott, where he served as Assistant Front Office Manager and Reservations Manager. He also worked as Front Office Manager at the Greensboro-High Point Marriott and Irvine Marriott Hotel. Mr. Greene then reported to the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, where he served as Front Office Manager/Reservation Manager and Director of Housekeeping.
Mr. Greene was born in Bloomington, Indiana and raised in Colorado Springs. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with an emphasis in Hotel and Restaurant Management) from the University of Denver.
